Our Program

The Children's Cooperative Daycare is a state licensed, parent-run daycare established in 1970. We are a community of dedicated parents engaged in providing a nurturing setting of education, socialization and fun for our children. Our goal is to foster and promote age-appropriate development in the following areas: social, emotional, cognitive, language, gross and fine motor skills.

Announcements

25 Apr 2005:

  • All kids and grownups of the Coop community are delighted to welcome our new Coordinator and Head Teacher, Carlitta Dawson. Carlitta has well over a decade of experience teaching young children, and her expertise in early childhood education will be an invaluable asset to the Coop.
  • We have childcare openings for the summer and fall. Families interested in applying, please email at judit_balassa AT yahoo DOT com or call Judit at (203) 495-1486 or Benedicte at (203) 495-8763 to schedule a visit at Daycare and to receive Coop brochure and an application form.
  • Invitations to our Spring Fair on May 7! We will have a raffle with donations from members and local businesses; a tag sale of children's clothing, toys and other items; a bake sale; and a recruiting table with information brochures about the Coop.
  • Work Day is this weekend, 30 Apr. It is our annual Coop tradition for parents to get together this Saturday for a full day of spring cleaning, maintenance jobs, and beautifying of our space. Childcare available off-site!
