Is it just me or are the holidays coming faster and faster over the years? I resolve to keep up with pictures and family updates. For the kids, Timmy is still taking violin, and Evelyn moved from ballet to ballet with tap to tap. Maureen is really busy with work right now, and so am I. As for music, I can say I recently discovered The Decemberists, rediscovered Brad Paisley, and now Muse is one of my new favorite bands. I've been revisiting albums I've had for a long time, and I think it helps my range of knowledge and appreciation.
I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it. For those latter, I especially hope that what Jesus taught, who He is, and how He lived are at the center of the celebration. Nothing wrong with a little seasonal generosity and sharing, of course.
